Our firm began as Corporate Recruiting Firm in 1983 with the status of the leading recruitment organization for all of the largest Communications Corporations in Canada and the world, which lead to the investor relations firm founded in 1986. IDS-IR Consultants Ltd. (IDS-IRC) spent six years exclusively representing Canadian based, US listed clients. In June of 1989, IDS-IRC merged to become a subsidiary of Phoenix Search Group, the world’s largest independent global investor relations, governance and integrated corporate communications firm. Our teams’ entrepreneur spirit was strengthened by having support from a global platform but the operating autonomy to continue with our core focus of representing emerging growth companies.
